Sea Grove beach new homes and attractions

Have you ever meandered along the beach and wished that you could stay? My husband and I have toyed with the idea of purchasing a beach home either on the oceanfront or near the water. My blog readers know that our goal is to get a van camper. However; that doesn't rule out a home on the water.

I have learned that neighbors you can count on are vital to happy living. An oceanfront or beach community offers that.

Like a lot of people, we would want something more than a typical stand alone cottage. My daughters may want to visit so a place where there are lots of activities would be ideal.

Other considerations when looking at oceanfront property may include:
  • Affordability
  • Access to a nearby town for shopping
  • Nature trail
  • Easy access to the beach
  • Year round activities
  • A variety of floor plans
  • Clubhouse for gatherings
  • Enough space to park a few cars
  • Easy maintenance
  • Golf course (The past time that my husband keeps talking about.)
  • Weather permitting, a glorious beach sunset.
  • Warranty
The Emerald Coast of Florida is a popular for beach goers and sounds intriguing. It has a reputation for offering the easy relaxed pace that we would want in a community. Sea Grove Beach was named the "Nation's Best Beach".  Among other factors, the determination was based on qualities like sand cleanliness, quality of the nature trails and scenic beauty. It may just be the place to live.
