Norris Dam State Park is a popular peaceful spot. The dam not only provides electricity but the area surrounding it is available for recreation. Cabins (both with and without electricity) are available for rent or you can pitch your tent in a comfortable wooded campground. It's popular for reunions, hiking and picnicking.
