The annual performance of the Living Christmas Tree in Knoxville inspires people of all ages. The story of the birth of Jesus is told in a combination of song and narration.
Visitors cannot help but be drawn in from the first moment. Hundreds of volunteers including choir members and support team make up the cast. As the choir enters they step onto and fill a large platform that is built to resemble a Christmas tree.
Sevier Heights Baptist Church brings the Living Christmas Tree to Knoxville every year. A few years ago the event became so large that it was necessary to move it to the Thompson-Boling Arena. There is plenty of parking.
Tickets are free and are strongly suggested. You can reserve a seat and print your free tickets online. The event is so in demand that some performances are already filled. Ticket holders for the Living Christmas Tree in Knoxville are allowed into the arena one hour early. Non ticket holders are permitted in 15 minutes early.
