I’m writing this article on how to pick out an apartment for my daughter and future son-in-law. They haven’t begun their marriage yet. Actually, we are all researching wedding venues and options. That hasn't stopped them from dreaming of their new home and their life together.
From what I gather they are looking for an affordable castle. You know, one with lots of different rooms and everything except a moat. When you are trying to pick out an apartment decide what you can afford and stick to that price. This is especially important to keep in mind around the time of the wedding. No one needs to begin their marriage by struggling to make rent on a overpriced (to them) apartment.

It’s hard to create time for apartment hunting the week before the wedding. Begin your search a month or two before you move in together. You are more like to pick out an apartment that fits your needs by starting early.
