Greetings from Lake Junaluska, North Carolina

Here are some photos from Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. They are taken at the United Methodist assembly grounds here. The beautiful scenery and overall peacfulness provides opportunities to unwind after a long day of meetings.

Lodging here is mostly in cottages, lodges or a couple of assembly operated hotels. There are aslo apartment type suites that provide a large room, kitchentte and a separate bedroom.

Unlike major hotel chains like La Quinta or Choice Hotels, most of the lodging options that are on the grounds do not provide televisions or phones. You are welcome to bring yours from home but I've never seen anyone yet that did that.

Retreats, as well as other conferences and experiences are offered here at the Lake Junaluska assembly grounds throughout the year. Staff is as friendly as it gets. Lodging and room accommodations for the conference are best booked in advance. Those who prefer to stay in nationwide hotel chains can find options in the nearby towns of Maggie Valley and Waynesville.
