Knoxville Zoo; Boo at the Zoo 2012

It is time for Boo at the Zoo 2012 at the Knoxville Zoo. For 26 years, this not-so-scary Halloween trick-or-treat event has been anticipated by children and parents. Kids can safely rake in the candy. Parents don't have to worry about anything except overindulgence.

This year, the event is sponsored by U.S. Cellular. The Knoxville Boo at the Zoo is spread out over three big weekends. The dates for 2012 are October 12-13, 18-21, 25-30. It runs from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. nightly.  Admission is $6 per person and children under age 2 are free. Parking is $5.

Knoxville Zoo memberships provide member perks all year long. Discounts are available for Boo at the Zoo an other events. Non-discounted tickets can be purchased online or at area Kroger stores.
