EarthFest Knoxville April 2012

Green living here we come! EarthFest Knoxville is back for 2012. It's on the Hardin Valley campus of Pellissippi State. It is a family friend event to feel good about. I am still learning about green living and look forward to EarthFest in Knoxville every year. It combines fun with education in a way that keeps your interest. You do not have to be an environmentalist to enjoy the event.

Sun shines through tree.
The date and times for EarthFest 2012 in Knoxville are:
Saturday, April 21
10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
No admission
Free parking

This year, A Heart for Guatemala will be collecting adult size medium coats and children size 7 shoes at EarthFest. Recycle and live green by bringing your items to EarthFest to help someone else.

Another thing that people are doing for green living is using rain barrels. The water is caught and can be used on the lawn or garden. Composters and rain barrels are for sale at EarthFest in Knoxville. Proceeds benefit the Knoxville Recycling Coalition.

Green living means enjoying the outdoors. Anyone who is interested in disc golf is in for a treat at EarthFest in Knoxville. The disc golf demonstration and team members will be glad to answer any questions that you might have about the sport. Want more fun? Bring chairs and any spare drums that you own to the Drum/Hoop/Spin/Dance Jam. It's guaranteed to be an experience that the kids aren't going to forget.

EarthFest in Knoxville helps me with green living and is an event I look forward to every year. If you see me snapping pictures there tomorrow be sure to say hello. Who knows? I might recycle your comments into a future blog post.
