Historic Fort Craig, New Mexico

We stopped at the Fort Craig National Historic Site in San Antonio, New Mexico on our travels. It's almost 2 hours from Albuquerque on I-25S. If you want to visit the Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Refuge, it's only a half hour beyond that point.

Here's a link to the map from Albuquerque. The link will expand when you click on it. As per the map, we stopped at the Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Refuge first and dropped to Fort Craig. We then headed just a bit farther south to go Buckhorn Burgers. It was there that Bobby Flay got in a smackdown over who had the best green chile burger and lost.
