Thanksgiving Service in Strawberry Plains

This post was originally written in 2008. I've not heard anything for this year. If you have the information, then please email me at youvebeenreviewed@gmail.com. We'll get it posted here asap. Community Thanksgiving Services are becoming a lost ttradition in many communities. I hope that your area has one. If not, this may be a good year to change that. All it takes is two churches that are willing to work together. After that, a new tradition is born.

Don't forget to email me with your community notices. I enjoy putting them up on the blog. May Thanksgiving always be in your hearts and minds.

The annual Thanksgiving Community Service at Strawberry Plains is scheduled again. It will take place at Rush Strong School on Nov. 25 at 7:00 pm. This community effort is put together through the quiet organizing skills of Rev. Dennis Maxey at Strawberry Plains Presbyterian church. It is usually a moving service that brings together people of all areas of Strawberry Plains. A love offering is taken to benefit the historically significant cemetery in downtown Strawberry Plains right next to Rush Strong School.
