It's 4,100 miles to Willow, Alaska from Jacksboro, Tennessee. My daughter and I are leaving on Friday, June 12, 2009 to begin our journey. We will be carrying team supplies for the mission trip. Our plans are to meet up with the team at the Anchorage airport on June 20th and drive to the mission site together.
We will drive from Jacksboro across parts of Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota before entering into Canada and then into Alaska. On the way back we will be traveling a route that will take us through Glacier National Park;Kalispell, Montana; Rapid City, South Dakota, Missouri and Kentucky before finally coming back home.
It should take us about a month. We are calling this the mother-daughter trip of a lifetime. Hubby will be joining us for the return trip.
Along the way we'll be using Twitter, updating this blog and writing on Associated Content. Follow us. It should be fun.
Gayle...you and your daughter and the entire mission team are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care and I hope God blesses your trip in ways you didn't even imagine!!! In His Most Precious Love...Debbie
