We have been happy AAA of East Tennessee members for years. This past year we have realized the many benefiits of being members. When you join AAA it means much more than emergency roadside service. (Although that's pretty nice in itself.)
Several levels of membership are offered. They are:
- Classic Membership offers lockout service, jumps and 5 miles of free towing. The cost is $89 for one person for a year.
- AAA Plus gives you 100 miles of towing, lockout service and jumps.
- Premiere is a new level of membership. With it you get 200 miles of free towing, lockout services for your car and your home, trip interruption reimbursement, concierge services, medical assistance and other benefits.
- Two different types of RV Memberships are also offered. This includes AAA Plus for RV and AAA Premier RV.
Visit the AAA of East Tennessee website for information regarding costs. It will vary with the type of membership and the number of people that you add.
We value the other benefits of AAA as much as we do the automobile services. As a member you can get discounted movie tickets. Just drop by their office and purchase these in advance. They aren't good for opening weekends or advance showings. That's a small price to pay for saving up to $2 per ticket. Plus, there are discounted tickets for other attractions.
Showing your card at businesses can help you save. How about 10% off of that Barnes and Noble purchase? Motel accommodations are also discounted.but so is Rockport, FTD, Payless Shoe Store, The Geek Squad and more. A full list is here. If you normally shop at these stores the savings can pay for the cost of an AAA of East Tennessee membership can pay for itself. We have thoroughly enjoyed being members.
