Tomorrow is the annual free Krispy Kreme Doughnut day. The company only advertises this online. The first year that we went it really threw me. There weren't any signs up in the stores. I shouldn't have worried though. The staff all knew what was going on.
You don't need a coupon to get a free doughnut from Krispy Kreme. No purchase is required either. All you do is walk up to the counter, ask for your free doughnut and pick it out. That's all there is to it.

It's possible that some stores won't be participating. With any event it's always a good idea to phone ahead of time to double check.
Don't expect it to be crowded. During our afternoon visit last year almost no one was there. There wasn't any wait. We just walked right into Krispy Kreme on free doughnut day and didn't have to wait at all. It made for a fun date with Hubby.
