Did you know that on National Coffee Day you can get free java from Krispy Kreme? It's a fun way to celebrate the day. Hubby is a huge coffee drinker who thinks that nothing is better than free coffee. Unfortunately, we're on vacation at a theme park and can't take advantage of this special offer but you can.
National Coffee Day 2011 is on September 29. The free 12 oz. cup is their way of recognizing National Coffee Day and introducing their new House Blend. Not all Krispy Kreme locations are participating but it looks like most are.
You do not have to make a purchase to get the free cup of java. Just walk into the doughnut shop and ask for a cup. Of course, it would be hard to walk out without one of their confectionery treats. The website does say that staff will be happy to suggest the perfect doughnut to go with the coffee. However, the purchase isn't required.
