When do colors peak in East Tennessee

Nothing beats a fall color drive through Tennessee for a road trip. When people ask when fall colors peak there are several different answers. Peak happens at different times depending on where travelers want to visit. The colors begin to show at the highest elevations and come down the mountains before reaching the valley.
