Our area is fortunate to have several Knoxville romantic restaurants. Valentine's Day and prom are just around the corner. It's almost impossible to select one place to visit. The Melting Pot - This fondue restaurant has tall comfortable booths and light music. Pots of boiling fondue are served at your table. The server fills you in on how to cook each item. It is both intimate and romantic. The Melting Pot may be a little pricey for some diners. Check the website for details. Open for lunch and dinner. Valentine's Day reservations for 2012 open in mid-January.
French Market Creperie - This downtown restaurant is on Gay Street. Urbanspoon reviewers have given it a 95% approval rating. The charming atmosphere makes it a good date location for almost any celebration. Most menu items are under $10. Open for breakfast through dinner and late night. Voted the Metro Pulse Best of Knoxville 2009.
Taste of Thai - Good food and service help make this a romantic restaurant. The are open for both lunch and dinner with a break in-between. Entrees include Masman Curry, fried rice and even Pad Woonsen. Meals are around $17 with several in the $11 range.
