Some San Francisco, Hawaii gay travel spots

An older couple told once that travel takes health and money. Friends of mine who are gay have talked about having a desire to travel but sometimes feeling insecure about doing so. I've done some research on a gay travel site and have put together some resources that may help. It turns out that Seattle, San Francisco and Hawaii have some gay travel spots that may be of interest.

In California, the San Francisco, Castro Area is widely recognized to have the right combination of friendliness and fun. But, it isn't the only spot on the map to do so. Gay friendly attractions include shops, bars and restaurants. Some of the more famous restaurants are the acclaimed Café de la Presse and Bourbon Steak House. Both of these are in the financial district of San Frisco and both of these offer their own unique style of dining.

For example, the Cafe' de la Presse is a brasserie that is attached to the Hotel Triton. The restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. A wide array of periodicals are available for those who want to read and relax. The San Francisco offers a wine list and bistro-type outdoor seating.

The Bourbon Steak House isn't your run of the mill kind of place. The Westin, St. Francis in the financial district is the home of this restaurant. It is the creation of none other than Michael Mina. He is the internationally acclaimed chef and restauranteur who owns such eateries as Michael Mina and Clock Bar in San Francisco.

Gay Friendly Hotels include travel hot spots such as Hawaii and Seattle. Unfortunately, not every hotel is gay friendly. The website, Gay Travel Buddy.com mentions W Seattle and The Waikiki Grand Honolulu as hotels that may be among the most welcoming.
