Jones Chapel United Methodist to offer Christian womens conference

Jones Chapel United Methodist in Riceville, Tennessee will offer a Christian women's conference again this year. The theme is "Becoming a Woman of Courage". I am excited and honored to be the speaker for 2013.

Every woman in the Bible is a woman of courage. Eve lost two sons to domestic violence and went on to raise more children. Rahab faced an invading army after sending spies in the wrong direction. The woman who touched the robe of Jesus and the woman at the well each showed courage and poise.

 I chose the theme of Becoming a Woman of Courage because each of us have had times in our lives when we needed a dose of bravery. So what can we learn from these brave women of the Bible? How can we apply those lessons in our own lives. Come and find out.

Jones Chapel United Methodist Church is in Riceville, Tennessee.
Womens Conference date is Saturday, May 4.
Doors will open at 9:00 a.m.
