Knoxville Veteran's Day Parade - Thank You Vets!

Thank you to all veterans. You work hard to keep our country safe. We appreciate the hard job that you do!

If you are in Knoxville, the best way to celebrate Veteran's Day is to attend the 84th annual Veteran's Day parade. It's sponsored by the American Legion Knoxville Post 2. Be at the coliseum at 10:45 am for the start of the parade or choose a spot along the parade route to watch. The route goes from the Knoxville Coliseum to Church Street before turning right onto Gay Street and right onto Summit Hill. More information can be found online here.

Expect high school bands, local high school ROTC programs and more! I have many fond memories of marching in the Knoxville Veteran's Day parade from "back in the day". My daughters both have their great memories of their own from their high school days. The parade still delights participants and attendees. If you get to go to the parade be prepared to have fun.

There is no better way to honor the sacrifices made by our military than by attending the Knoxville Veteran's Day Parade.
