Scenery around Morristown, Tennessee is beautiful. Panther Creek State Park is perhaps the crown jewel of this Hamblen County town. Here you can bike, fish, hike, picnic or camp. Visiting the park can make for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Morristown also has a mall and a growing number of restaurants. Near the Wal-Mart you'll find branded restaurants like Ryan's or Zaxby's. You'll need to go further into town to find places that the locals like. Angelo's has been around for years and is well liked. The Little Dutch in the downtown area can't be beat for a good local diner.

You won't have to look far for cultural arts and heritage. Stop in at the Rose Center. They'll have all the information you need about cultural events, Civil War history and area cultural groups. If they don't have the information that you are looking for the Chamber of Commerce will.
