Allegiant Air Offers Myrtle Beach Service

Prices and destinations from Allegiant Air just keep getting better every time I check . They have now added service from Knoxville to Myrtle Beach for only $29 each way. Yay! A fee of $14 is added for online reservations. You can save the additional charge by purchasing at an Allegiant Air ticket counter. Those pesky baggage fees do apply and so does tax, but it is nice to see an budget airline come to town. This may be good news for budget savvy travelers.

We're still planning our Myrtle Beach vacation (more here) and I don't know if we're going to fly or drive. The idea of taking a plane is tempting but then we have to deal with the TSA and rent a car. Driving is usually my preferred method of travel.

Allegiant Air Myrtle Beach arrivals who do not want to rent a car at the airport can take a taxi. As of this writing,  the charge is $2.40 per mile plus $1 for  an additional person. Unlike shuttles, taxis do not have to be reserved in advance. They can be hailed at the airport. Employees are available to assist.

This new service now makes it more affordable to fly. If you can pack your things into one carry-on baggage you'll save even more. Find out about flying the low cost airline, Allegiant Air from Knoxville to Myrtle Beach on Trip Advisor or other online review site.
