My visit to the Oak Ridge Farmers' Market in Jackson Square

I have just come back from an absolutely delightful morning. Are you familiar with the Oak Ridge Farmer’s Market at Jackson Square? I wasn’t. Not until today that is. Hubby’s meeting in Oak Ridge game me time to explore.

The farmers’ market sign called to me as I headed into town on the Turnpike heading into town. Without hesitation my car whipped up Georgia Ave. In a minute you could see the bright tents set up in the Jackson Square parking lot. I grabbed the cloth grocery bag that St. Mary’s gave out at Earth Fest 2010 and wished for a cooler.

It was easy to get into the Farmers’ Market and easy to navigate once you got to the tents. People with large items were able to negotiate the crowd and the wide aisles – a definite plus!

Picture perfect weather made exploring the Oak Ridge Farmers’ Market at Jackson Square a real treat. Look at the following photos and see for yourself.
