New input on Megabus from Knoxville to D.C.

An e-friend of mine contacted me about her experience with the Megabus from Knoxville to Washington, D.C. route.

Renie said that all went off without a hitch. To say that the report is glowing is an understatement. She seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her Megabus experience and her trip to Washington, D.C. It's always a delight to hear from someone who had such a good time on a vacation.

Dare we hope that the bus company has resolved their route issues here? I hope so. This bus service could almost make Knoxville a suburb of D.C. It would be great for people who have family or weekend jobs on either end of the route.

If you have a place to say, you could arrive at either city on a Friday and return overnight on Sunday. This may be an especially good idea for college students in either place. My daughter didn't hesitate to point out that two weekend bus tickets may cost less than doing laundry in the college dorm.

    Many more recent reviews suggest the service is getting better. I am headed to visit my daughter at GW next Friday and would love to have Megabus as an option for the next couple of years. Thanks for the info.

    Some of the problems could definitely be attributed to this being a new route. I'm not willing to write it off just yet.

    Megabus can potentially be a great service for Knoxville and yes, more recent reviews like this one do suggest that it's improving.

    I hope that you have a fabulous visit with your daughter. Don't hesitate to let us know how it goes. :)
