DC News sources for Hurricane Irene

I know that some of you are watching the DC news sources for Hurricane Irene information. A Twitter/FB friend just messaged me that a cell phone carrier is having issues. Hopefully that won't last long and everything will be back to normal soon - for all of us.

Here are some of the DC news sources that seem to have good coverage of Hurricane Irene. This can't be all the great sources that are out there. By 'news' I'm including a couple of Twitter sources that have good coverage. If you have something to add feel free to leave a comment.

Twitter is being added to the list. Technically it's not a news source but some reputable sites are posting fast and furious reports. This form of communication seems to be coming into its own. Twitter is the scanner that our parents wish they'd had.

'Would whoever pissed off Irene send her flowers or something? Enough already!
