The free McMinn County Senior Citizens "15th Annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show" is this weekend. It's Saturday, November 17 from 9-5. Twenty-three vendors are offering Christmas decorative items, delectable goodies and perfect holiday gift items. Did I mention the fresh pecans and hourly door prizes?
The show is today and the weather is a balmy 62 degrees. Parking is free and plentiful. Walking through the show is a fun way to spend some time and relax for awhile. The McMinn County Senior Citizens Center "15th Annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show" gives you a jump start on the holiday season. You can relax and enjoy a taste of Christmas without being overwhelmed (yet) by the hustle and bustle.
Here's the map link that you need to find the center. The address is 205 McMinn Avenue, Athens, TN.
I'll be taking pictures for my blog and enjoying the day. It should be a lot of fun! I hope to see you at the craft show. Be sure to say hello.
Update:
The craft show at the senior citizens center in Athens, Tennessee was fun. Even the windows were decorated with bright Christmas paintings. The door prize table was just as you walked in. The rooms were divided into vendor space, another room with donations and tables were set-up for lunch. It's a safe bet that they have the best meal in town today!
Here are a couple of photos from the McMinn County Senior Citizens "15th Annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show". Check Red Gage to see photos of the windows and more.
