Enchanted colors at a Chattanooga car wash

We have a winner! It only took a little while for the lucky person to guess the right answer.  Congratulations to Debbie for guessing "car wash". She chose the $5 Amazon gift certificate and will be receiving it shortly. Be sure to check out her blog through the link in the comments section.

Many thanks to those who commented here and on Facebook. There were lots of great answers. I may steal some of the ideas for future blog posts so keep watching.

What is it?
The photo was taken in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the Sam's Car Wash. You are looking at the enchanted swirling colors of the soap as it sprayed onto the windshield. Clicking the photo takes you to a larger picture on Red Gage. The The swirling motion begged for my ever-present camera to capture the action in all it's glory.
Okay everyone. Put on your thinking caps and tell me what this photo is. The first person who leaves the right answer in the comments section below will win either a $5 e-certificate to Starbucks or
Amazon (Winner's choice, email address required.)

Unless guessed correctly before then, the contest will run from now until midnight (EDT) on April 3, 2013. Check here for the answer on April 4. Feel free to guess as many times as you like.

I'll have another contest up soon! :)

  Psst. Want some hints?

1. The image was captured on a camera phone in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
2. The object is nether alive or dead.
3. It's from somewhere that we've all probably been at least once.

So what is this photo of whirling swirling color? The image hasn't been cropped or otherwise altered in any way. It's a "what you see, is what you get" shot.

Click on the photo for a larger view and leave your guesses in the comments section below.

Have fun. :)

  1. The bottom water level of the Tennessee Aquarium, below the catwalks and ramps.

As the story was explained to me, this was originally intended to contain live fish but before they could introduce them, guests began tossing coins over the banisters. The copper made the water inhospitable to marine life and thus no fish are there now but the element was allowed to remain and become a wishing well of sorts.
