Earth Day freebies in Knoxville

Looking to celebrate Earth Day in Knoxville for 2014? In addition to the upcoming EarthFest Knoxville that takes place this Saturday, there are lots of Earth Day freebies that you can enjoy.

Free Disney Tote
Take five plastic bags into the Disney Store at West Town Mall and trade them in for a free Disneynature Bears reusable tote bag. What a fun way to recycle! This is just one of the ways that Disney supports the environment. The Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Florida have a number of green initiatives. It's nice that they are offering a free tote.

Starbucks
Free coffee may be the only thing that makes Starbucks better. Take a reusable tumbler or mug in and they'll fill it with coffee, hot tea or iced tea for you - for free! This has been an Earth Day promotion for a few years now. It's something that I look forward to every year. The full scoop is on the Starbucks website. Read more about how Starbucks initiatives to help the environment.

Coloring pages
Teachers, Sunday School classes and parents who want to teach children about environmental responsibility will be interested in this one. Free Earth Day coloring pages can be downloaded online.

National Parks
Get free entrance during National Park Week from April 19-27, 2014. Parks are having lots of fun free activities and events. Go to nps.gov to look up your favorite park online. Check the calendar or "Things to do" tab to learn about the programs.

    1. Hi Phil,
Thanks for stopping by and for the suggestion. Whether the outside environment or online, I'm always interested in making things better. Like you do with your writing.

By the way, those are great images of the ocean and of the surfer that are on your Google+ profile. Love the shimmering movement.
