Travel blog: A quick word

Building a travel blog takes more than hard work and dedication. Successful bloggers will tell you that thriving blogs have a combination of readers who actively comment, advertising or sponsors and good stories to tell.

We understand that writing " This is what I did over summer vacation." 500 times brings as much boredom now as it did during school days. It's important to bring the reader (you) on your last road trip or vacation - at least that's what I hope we are accomplishing on You've Been Reviewed. From the page view stats, it looks like we're on the right track and I thank you for that.

Every comment, like, and share, tells us what kind of articles you want to see more of on this blog. That is how we found out you wanted to see more travel pieces on Megabus, read more about RV and camper van life, find out what makes Tennessee so great, get the scoop on organizing and participating in church mission trips. It's also how we know that you want to see more videos on our You Tube channel.

In short, you help us create the content that you want to see. We create it. You read it and share. And, then we all do it again. Sounds great doesn't it? Let's keep on traveling together. You keep commenting. Abby and I will keep writing. We'll all meet up to explore the next great American virtual road trip.

In the meantime, be sure to keep letting us know what's important to you. Those likes, shares and comments mean a lot. Keep 'em coming. We'll be following.
