During our recent visit to Pigeon Forge,
we noticed a particular Pancake House was always very crowded in the mornings -
which is the only time they are open! (hours 7:00 am to 1:00 pm). We
don't usually eat out for breakfast or lunch while on vacation but the next to
last day of our trip I just had to try Reagan's House of Pancakes.
Reagan's House of Pancakes decorated for Fall! |
We were greeted and seated quickly and I
must say the interior of Reagan's is cozy and charming! It was very busy
and the staff was constantly on the move. We spotted the buffet at the
rear of the restaurant and we checked it out first. Once our server
arrived to give us coffee we were ready to hit the buffet. The price is
$8.49 for all you can eat.
I love pancakes and they had a huge
stack of them, just waiting for me! To get to the pancakes I had to
stroll by the scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits, bacon and sausage. They had
three types of syrup and I picked your basic maple. The pancakes were
very good, the syrup was hot and I enjoyed them very much.
My husband is a bacon lover but I don’t
fix it for him very often. Therefore, he
helped himself to what I thought was way too much bacon! He did have some eggs and pancakes to go with
the pound of bacon!
We both made two trips to the buffet and
that was nothing compared to some of the other customers who made trip after
trip after trip! But, it is a buffet so there
are no limits .Oh and the coffee was very good and it to me the first sign of a
good breakfast restaurant!
You can order off of the menu if you
desire. I gave it a quick glance and
decided it was better for me to get the buffet so I could have my fill of
pancakes!
It is definitely a family friendly
restaurant and it is family owned. No matter which location you visit you will
have great food and a great experience.
Reagan’s House of Pancakes, on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is a winner!
