The first dog park in Knoxville was developed by PetSafe Village Corporation. It is an on-leash park. Owners must clean up after their pets. During certain days and times this dog park in Knoxville will allow you to have your dog off the leash. It is on PetSafe Village Corporation private property. No government funds were used to build it or are used to maintain it. It's a great place to walk your dog! Check out their website to learn more.

This was the first public dog park in Knoxville. It's located in Victor Ashe Park. The off leash area is about one acre and is fully fennced. Features include a puppy playground and jump, dog water fountain, tunnel, waste stations and other structures. Click the link above to learn more.

Dog Parks in Downtown Knoxville - Coming soon!

This dog park in Knoxville is expected to be completed in the summer of 2009. There will be spearate areas for large and small dogs, water and structures. The city received a grant which will help the park be environmentally friendly.
