Photo Movie Slideshow of Banff National Park in Canada

Banff National Park is only a few miles from Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies. They are a little under 200 miles from the United States Border. We thought both parks were absolutely beautiful. Even though the parks are close the scenery is different.

In general, the farther north you are in Canada the taller the mountains are. The weather tends to be cooler and the trees are not as tall. If you have time, you will want to go to both of these Canada National Parks if only to drive through. There is a lot to see and do. You could easily stay a week at either park. It's easy to see why so many people go back to the Canadian Rockies and Jasper and Banff National Parks year after year.
