Photo Video of Glacier National Park

This is a video slideshow of photos from Glacier National Park in St. Mary, Montana. The views of the glaciers and mountains literally took your breath away. Many of the photos you see in the video slideshow were taken on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. It was exciting, exhilarating and just everything that you hope the visit to Glacier National Park could be.

We stopped at the park as we came back from Alaska. The whole trip was filled with spectacular experiences. Search under "Alaska" on this blog to see more. In addition to Glacier National Park we visited Calgary, Alberta in Canada, Denali National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Talkeetna, Alaska and more.

There was one sobering fact that we learned at Glacier National Park. The glaciers are receding. Because of global warming it is expected that the glaciers that carved this park will have completely disappeared.

Because the rivers, streams and valleys were carved by glaciers the park will retain it's name. Even though these mighty forces are becoming extinct the park will still be known to future generations as Glacier National Park.
