Econo Lodge Motel in Berea, Kentucky

This review is of the Econo Lodge in Berea, Kentucky. It is just off of I-75 and has easy access.

My daughter is a student at the nearby Berea College. We have stayed at this Econo Lodge several times.So far, each stay has been consistent with clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price. Our room had a comfortable King sized bed, micro fridge, dresser, large TV, vanity area and bathroom.  The Wi-Fi has been upgraded. We had a strong steady signal so connection was no problem.

The continental breakfast is your standard cereals, toast and bagels. There is juice, coffee and milk. It's served from 6:30 am - 9:30 am.

Reserving the room online was easy. I first logged into iGive.com, searched for Choice Hotels and reserved that way. When I go through iGive 2.8% of the cost of our stay supports charity. My selection is the charity I work with but you can choose any charity you want to support.

Choice Hotels has a reservation system that is responsive and easy to navigate. With the extra step mentioned above it takes only a few minutes to reserve the room. A credit card will guarantee late arrival. Cancelation varies by location but is by 4:00 pm on the day of arrival here.

Staff is another good reason to stay here. Upon arrival check-in was smooth. The clerk was friendly and efficient. She told us everything we needed to know without being prompted. Nice!

We came to the town because of the Berea College Christmas Concert. In the morning we awoke to a light snowfall. The staff was just as friendly upon checkout as for check-in. If morning didn't come so early the stay would have been perfect!
