EarthFest family event takes place on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The fun happens at Pellissippi State Technical College on the Hardin Valley Campus. It's a great day of entertainment and fun. Booths from various vendors provide information on area environmental events and sustainability. Admission is free.
Visitors will be able to
- Bring a lightbulb to exchange for a fluorescent bulb.
- Free trees are available from Keep Knoxville Beautiful. These can be reserved in advance and picked up at the event.
- Mercy Healthcare will be giving free collapsible water bowls to dogs who bring their humans to the EarthFest event.
- Bring at least 6 plastic bags and exchange them from a free reusable grocery tote.
(Free items are limited to one per household. All items are available while supplies last.)
The EarthFest 2010 happens rain or shine. Bring the kids. Bring the dog and come have fun!
