Have you visited the Watts Bar Belle in Lenoir City?

Hubby and I had the opportunity to tour the Watts Bar Belle riverboat in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Nostalgia flooded my senses from the moment I stepped aboard. There was a slight breeze blowing off the lake and the weather was perfect.

From the top deck you could see miles of lake. Comfortable chairs beckoned to us to sit down and enjoy the moment. The lower deck is completely wheelchair accessible. Large windows in the climate-controlled dining room provide breathtaking views of the landscape of the Tennessee River.

Tickets for most excursions range from $29.95 - $44.95 each. At our last movie night Hubby and I spent that much on a nice dinner, popcorn and two evening movie tickets! On the Watts Bar Belle you get a 2-2 1/2 hour tour, plus a nice dinner and you get entertainment. Plus, you get the nostalgic feeling of days gone by.

Our time at the Watts Bar Belle came to an end all too soon. I am looking forward to going back for a  night with Larry Blair, "Patsy Cline" (Tina Jenkins) or maybe a Gospel Music cruise. Their group rates help make touring even more affordable. Hmmm. I wonder if any of our church friends would like to go?
