Several performances of Messiah by Handel are being held in and around the Knoxville area. All of the performances are being conducted by Sandy Wells, who is the director of the Clinch Valley Community Chorus and Orchestra. The audience is encouraged to sing along with the chorus during the performance.
The Clinch Valley Community Chorus and Orchestra has a few copies of
Messiah by Handel that audience members may borrow during the
performance. Audience members are also welcome to bring their own score.
A sing along helps make the concert fun for the entire family. Some families choose to put these concerts on their annual Christmas calendar.
