Whether it is from the death of a loved one, dealing with sickness or family trouble, work problems or whatever, we sometimes feel out of step or out of place when everyone else is celebrating.
The service schedule for 2012 is:
Friday, December 21
11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.Wesleyanna United Methodist Church
Athens, Tennessee
Sometimes we feel bad for feeling bad. A Blue Christmas service offers a place to acknowledge feeling blue and hopefully find some comfort.
The Blue Christmas service will include music, a devotion and Holy Communion. Attendees will have the opportunity to light a candle in honor of a loved one. As always, you may choose to participate in any part of the service or not, depending on how you feel.
For directions or for more information about the Blue Christmas service, email Rev. John Crabtree at revcrab@hopeforhealing.org.
