Free admission at Smithsonian affiliated museums for Museum Day Live!

Museum Day Live! is sponsored annually by Smithsonian Magazine. It's the one day of the year when participating Smithsonian affiliated museums open their doors for free admission. A ticket is required. All you need to do is go to this link and look for the museum that you want to visit. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/

If it's participating (and almost all of them are), then all you need to do is print your ticket and have a good time on Museum Day Live! The tickets are good for one person and a guest with a limit of one per household.

I'm told that the date is typically the last Saturday in September. This can change from year-to-year so be sure to bookmark the website or follow them on social media.
