Caryville, TN Fall 2010 |
Fall splendor can still be enjoyed at Tennessee State Parks. Cove Lake, Indian Mountain, Roan Mountain all spring instantly to mind. Other state parks would be Norris and Panther Creek. It's not a state park, but a white knuckle drive down the twisty roads of U.S. 129 puts mountain scenery all around you.
If you're thinking about heading to Tennessee to view the fall foliage, don't let the government shutdown stop you. There is still plenty to do, plenty to see and good times to be had.
