Mountain Cove Bluegrass disappointed tonight. They were supposed to appear at Jones Chapel UMC in McMinn, County but had to cancel. The contact said that the banjo player developed pneumonia and was unable to perform. Pneumonia is no light matter.
I was there when the pastor offered to let them come minus the player. However; the contact said that he let the other group members of Mountain Cove Bluegrass that the event was cancelled. Maybe it can be rescheduled when the player feels better?
The call came in yesterday to cancel the concert. The community really turned out to hear Mountain Cove Bluegrass Band. No one wants to back out of an obligation at the last minute. Bands members especially don't want to disappoint their fan base.

Prayerfully, the banjo player of Mountain Cove Bluegrass band will recover soon. I have "been there, done that". A cancelled show can be a small problem when compared to pneumonia. My prayers and best wishes go out to the player. May his healing be swift and full.
