According to Pixiedust, the lowest attendance at Walt Disney World is during part of January and early February. We aren't just talking about off season here.
A dead week is a time when business is, well, dead. There are deals galore to be had. The calendar is peppered with these periods. Like many places, travel now to Walt Disney World means some of the lowest prices of the year.
A couple of discounted rate examples are:
- A tent or pop-up site at Disney's Fort Wilderness is $50 during dead week (per night, plus tax etc.) The same type of site is $107 during Christmas.
- Dinner at Cape May Cafe ranges from $30 per adult during dead week. Dine there during peak season and expect to pay the maximum price of $59.99.
The great deals just make even more magical! My family is looking forward to mild temperatures and sunny skies. Now, all we have to do is pack the van and we'll be Florida bound.
